The SMLI Semi-Matic Laminator is designed and manufactured to the highest standards for use by archivists and conservators and is capable of laminating a wide range of materials quickly and efficiently. There are two heated platens 610mm wide and 670mm long. The SMLI Semi-Matic Laminator can laminate to a maximum size of 610mm x 670mm. It has two, solid, steel rollers 660mm wide, for consolidation of the laminate and automatic transfer to receiving tray. Solid rollers and unique top roller mounting system ensure the maximum consolidation of the laminate, producing a quality far exceeding previous machines. The SMLI Semi-Matic Laminator has a solid state proportional temperature control adjustable from 0°C to 130° allowing the use of a wide range of laminating materials including Archibond, B-Fix, Acetate etc. The timer circuit adjustable from 1 - 100 seconds can be set automatically to a sound buzzer, which automatically resets on opening the platens. The laminator can be supplied with the main frame and front platen frame separate. These can easily be bolted together on site making installation in cramped and difficult situations easier.
